Joe and Kathy Hassler
The founders of Hassler & Associates Insurance Agency, Joe and Kathy Hassler, opened their first Agency in Southern Illinois back in 1990, relocating to Panama City, FL in 1995. After working as a captive agent representing multiple lines of Insurance and Financial products throughout FL, they created Hassler & Associates in 2001
In 2009 the agency positioned to ease the difficulty and challenges of the unique FL property insurance market for their current and future clients by adopting a fully independent insurance brokerage business model.
Today the agency is proud to represent multiple major Carriers offering a wide variety of insurance products to meet the ever challenging needs of Florida property owners.
Brenda Pegram
Originally from Texas, Brenda became a licensed agent in 2009. Moving to Panama City in 2017, she joined the Hassler team.
When not at work, Brenda enjoys spending time with her husband and two kids and going to the beach.
Alisa Stewart
Born and raised in Panama City, Alisa joined the Hassler team in 2024 after becoming a licensed insurance agent. She went on to earn her 2-20 General Lines License.
When not at work, Alisa enjoys songwriting, performing music around town, cooking, and spending time with her spouse and their dogs.
Alyssa Pinkard
Born and raised in Panama City, Alyssa joined the Hassler team in 2022. She earned her insurance license in 2023.
When not at work, Alyssa enjoys baking, crocheting, and spending time with her spouse and their pets.
Alexis Duffer
Born and raised in Panama City, Alexis joined the Hassler team in 2026.
When not at work, Alexis enjoys spending time with her husband and kids.
Lauryn Nye
Born and raised in Panama City, Lauryn joined the Hassler team in 2026. She has maintained her 2-20 License for almost a decade.
When not at work, Lauryn enjoys being out in the community, going to events, and spending time with her husband and kids.
Madison Smith
Originally from Tennessee, Madison graduated from the University of Tennessee in 2025 and joined the Hassler team in 2026.
When not at work, Madison enjoys volunteering with Heartland Rescue Ranch and going on boat rides with her husband after church.
